I had the same problem with Chrome, mehr. With Firefox I’ve been able to reply to all the threads I’ve viewed without being told to log in despite being logged in.

using Chrome on desktop its a 50/50 shot whether I can reply to a thread

I think I’ve just come across the same thing as the last couple of posts- logged in (firefox), posting normally, but when I click over to this thread

I always get put to the not logged in version, and can’t reply. If I move from there to another thread (without logging in or out) I can post. Haven’t found it to occur on anything else but it might do- it does seem consistent though on that one thread

Re: Bold. I noticed last night on mobile that on the dark theme, there was a difference between bold/non-bold (didn’t look bold more like regular and light).
But still not working on desktop light theme.

This is weird – most pages display ok (chrome on ipad) but if I jump to the last page on the “Coronavirus, How’s your work doing” thread, the text boxes all overlap the screen and you have to scroll left to right to read them. Haven’t seen another page that is like that.

So it could be that the font isn’t loading and perhaps you already have it installed.
Looking closer:

It claims to be Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
Bold weight: 400 (which is normally for regular)
Regular weight: 300 (which is normally light)

But most people wont have a 300 weight of those I’d imagine.
I’m a graphic designer and even I don’t have them. (I have Helvetica Neue which doesn’t load instead).

So I would pick a google font and embed it – Open Sans, Roboto, Lato, etc.
Otherwise keep away from font-weight: 300

UPDATE Wednesday

We are running the office on a skeleton crew. Tech are working remotely mostly and also using up some much needed leave. They are working through the bugs at a steady pace and also working on some of the nice features we are looking forward to launching for you. Due to the disruption in the office though things are going slower than we had planned so we all hope you can bear with us.

Thanks for all the support and the reporting of the issues. It really does help. The next few months at least are going to be tough for everyone and we want to make sure that we at least have a great website for you to all use and keep up each others spirits 🙂

I’ve always wondered if it was something to do with the number of posts per page being changed from the default.
i.e. we show 40, but some part of the code still thinks we show 45 or something like that.

You’ve probably already checked.

I’m pretty sure you’re right. It first manifested when the previous upgrade took the post page count from 35 to 40.

I seem to be unable to login properly on Firefox on Android (Firefox on Linux & Windows both fine). I login and everything appears to be accepted, get redirected to the home screen and am not logged in. Changing page I’m still not logged in. Also seeing the “We value your privacy” message every time I change page so guessing something isn’t being set correctly? I’ll see if I can get a bit more info later on today.

Also, I’ve not tried to post in it but on the Our Forum post I see “This topic is marked as closed to new replies, however your posting capabilities still allow you to do so.”
