I need a new “formal” shirt to wear with a suit and it’s at least 6 years since I’ve bought one. I’m 195cm and slim so off the peg stuff just does not fit. Thomas Pink used to do some long sleeve lengths (but they’re out of business, and the body length wasn’t enough, and it was only in boring shirts).

M&S used to do a made to measure service that was great value. But it’s closed. It used Bivolino as a provider which is still running (and I still seem to have an account). Their decent stuff is about £100 (whereas M&S seemed to charge much less than Bivolino themselves)

theres also Proper Cloth (a US firm who seem to have sorted out VAT and duty on UK deliveries now). Again about £100.

Any other suggestions for places I should look?

Not made to measure but Charles Tyrwhitt always used to do long and extra long (sleeve and body) as well as slim fit.

I say used to, it has been a while since I wore anything other than a t-shirt and it has been a while since my slim fit shirts fitted me 🙂

Shame, of all the shirts I’ve ever bought, M&S lasted the longest. Very well made.
