It goes down quickly and smoothly.

It boings back up quickly and smoothly, but stops short by about 2cm.

A little bit of encouragement with my fingers and up it pops.

    It’s a v2 with remote lever.

    Any thoughts please?

Have you got the right air pressure in it? But it sounds more like it needs a service. I’ve not serviced mine yet, but it looks easy enough

Its 9 times out of 10 air pressure. The 1 time its not it needs a service.

As above air pressure, you could unscrew the top seal and add a dollop of grease too.

See if it comes up when the top seal is not screwed on (so it’s free to move with the shaft).

I’ve had it before when the bush/seal/whatever in the top cap was a bit stiff. It was enough to stop that last wee bit of extension.

Cleaning/grease/silicone spray and a few months use seemed to loosen it up again.

I have the same issue and I fix it by undoing the top collar and adding some fox suspension fluid. It probably needs a full service now but I’m too lazy.

I’ve not been that impressed with it. It seems to need regular TLC whereas the cheap Brand X posts keep going with nothing.

Thanks all, just been serviced so I could pop back to them but thought I’d have a play first.

Will pop in to the garage for a play

Loosen off the seat clamp a fraction.

It would appear my bike found some viagra in the garage.

It works perfectly today, so I’ll work on the principle ‘if it ain’t broke…’

But thanks all, got some ideas for when it’s next droopy
