Who here has fitted one down there headtube?

Did it go as easy as One up suggest?

It looks like a great idea, just not sure I want to shell out £20 to fit it!

    Any user reviews?

    Yes dead easy to fit.

Can’t really see how you could go wrong unless you were a total idiot.

The guide that fits over your steerer tube makes it a very simple job.

If you’re in the West Mids I’ll do it for you for a couple of beers.

Did one last week, piece of wee. Just use lots of oil/cutting fluid, take it slowly, and only advance the thread in small steps. The tap kit is really well thought out.

Brilliant little things, I’m so chuffed with mine!

Easy to fit but my only gripe is the top cap. Make sure you have a decent cassette tool as the grooves are very shallow and it’s a soft metal so getting a good amount of preload on the bearings can mean it can slip and easily mash them up. I’ve already had to replace mine once as a result of tightening with a poor fitting tool, and also the edc tool itself. I don’t know what they don’t make the grooves deeper.

Oh and make sure you grease the seal around the top as the tool can be a total bstard to get out if dry.

    Great. Ordered one this morning.

Anyone have a tap kit they’d like to sell?
