One up dropper – new Cartridge ?

I’ve recently got a new trail bike that came with a one up V2 dropper in 180 mm.
I could do with a bit more travel .
has anyone got any experience of swapping out the cartridge to a longer travel one ? Or is it buy a whole new post time ?
I’m hoping it can be swapped but not sure .

I’m pretty sure it’s not just a case of swapping the cart. The posts can adjusted down 10mm from their max travel but to get more than that it’s new post time I think.

Yea, the longer droppers have a longer post length to contain the larger cartridge.

Leisure lakes have some good prices on oneup droppers if your post is 30.9 – sadly 31.6 or 34.9 are out of stock in 210mm. I expect you would get a good amount of money back from selling yours too (maybe from me, if it’s 31.6 😀 )

The v2.1 is on sale direct now there is a V3. It’s you don’t care about the weight saving of the V3 then you might get one at a decent price.
