Lets say there is a couple of song I really like on youtube.
Let say I’d like to have them as MP3 in my phone to listen in the train on the morning
Is there a virus free software that could do that?

Open Youtube song in Safari
Open activity in window as song is playing
Double click the largest file you can see which will save it as a .flv to your harddrive.
FInd a utility to extract the audio from a FLV file into a MP3 file
Load onto MP3 Player

Or pay to download it from a legitimate site.

i have used a program called aarealrecorder in the past, which records whatever you put through your soundcard, but anything from download.com that get’s good reviews will do fine.
whichever way you go about it the sound quality probably won’t be up to much though.
i’d also add, if you like it that much, stick your bleedin hand in your pocket you tightwad. 💡

[EDIT] recording your soundcard o/p is easily done but will have reduced quality. Download Helper will download the highest quality file that youtube holds (it is restricted by connection speed)

you can do what Del has suggested with Audacity – do a forum search on it and you’ll see my other posts on how to do it.

Del as I said I am not sure I’ll find in to download for money.

Or juan – give us the URLs and I’ll do it for you.
