Would team GB have won if Cav and Wiggins where riding their usual bikes?

    No. Of course not.

Only if the usual bikes came with radios.

No, I can’t imagine why anyone would think that would have made one iota of difference to the result.

Well the problem was two fold. No slammed stems or Strava.

Yes because then they’d have been riding for a pro cycling team instead of teamGB

    No slammed stems or Strava

They also rode through Richmond Park without ANY Rapha, Sidi or Assos kit.

Destined to fail from that moment, surely.

Talking of which, what are those bikes, and why is all the make / model removed?

No, it was because Cav was not wearing the team overshoes like the rest of the team were.

    Not Millars fault….

It’s Millars fault for not having his competitor number the right way up

Stannard on Pinarello, Windy on Cervelo. Froome, Cav and Wiggo on UKSI.

Finished off the back. Leading on 7 of the 8 passes of us at Mickleham. Hero points for the ‘imaginary aerobars’ position every time.

Its damn hard riding those ‘imaginary aerobars’, I’ve been trying on a few training rides, (inspired by a certain D Miller).

Try the “imaginary aerobar” positioin in a BCF race and they will pull you out for dangerous riding and acting like a bell end.

When I was doing my LeJog, a girl in the group just ahead of me was using that position, hit a cats-eye and had a really nasty fall. Broken arm, cracked helmet, unconscious and then concussion.

I’ve done it plenty without any trouble, but at other places we’ve been warned not too.

You see plenty of insanely dangerous poses in Pro races, obviously one rule for them and another for the amateurs.
