    One for Brant I guess?!

Not a direct dig at the company or their products, just the website, it never just works like it should, some stuff listed wrong, or only accessible in certain ways, wrong photo’s for items, and just at the moment only the home page is working.

Might sell a bit more stuff if it could be found on the website………….

I like its quirky nature 🙂

I’ve noticed it being particularly bad today, I was actually wondering if they were a victim of some kind of cyber attack. Does that sound too ridiculous to be true? I’m (clearly!) not an I.T. person…

Hardly fair to ask Brant to comment – I don’t think web design is in his brief.

To an extent, you are surely getting what you “pay” for. On One specialise in selling stuff cheaply. That means lower margins. If you want a whizzy website, one that would cost more to set up, administer and host, you’d have to expect some of their prices to go up.

And to be fair to On One, the CRC website is a car-crash too!

What, quirky like if you look for forks under the correct heading they’re not there, but if you do a specific search they are???

I’m not expecting Brant to be their web guy, he just gets on here a fair bit (although I’ve just remembered he’s away for a bit), and may know why it doesn’t work properly.

It shouldn’t be hard, or expensive to just list items under the correct categories with the right photo. And if your website is your main sales portal, it should probably be a priority, don’t ya think?

on one, wiggle, crc all of them can be a pita to navigate and search features on most websites are awful

My fav “feature” is: find the page with a list of products you’re interested it, “ahah, I’ll just sort this by price then”

    *all products vanish*

CRC used to be great. The more they improve it the worse it seems to get

I agree, there’s 15 percent off frames today on Planet X but I doubt they are selling many as the website is largely blank.

And yes I’m running an up to date web browser.

there is a “new” PX/O-O site out there. I gather it should have launched around the same time as the new STW forum 😉

Im not sure why it’s not in use yet: After all, getting you lot to beta test it could hardly make for a poorer user experience 😉

I only realised recently that you have to use search to find what you need.

My pet h8 is the UK region ‘are you sure’ popup if you select paypal. The OK button doesn’t work and it takes 10 mins until you find the randomly placed invisible click spot. In fairness I blame other internet explorer users for the problem.

I can honestly say that I have never had any problems with on-one (or planet X)sites and have ordered loads.

While it does have the odd glitch, out of all the online bike retailers i use it is still one of the better ones. CRC have now taken the prize for the worst online shopping experience ever.

My experience of On – One in the past has been great. But recently wanted a few bits n bobs for my on going hack-bike project, went on their site and it was so slow and random , Sadly I gave up and went to CRC. Pity.
I’ll need more soon, will try again.

    So true!
And agree that the on one site is, let’s say, temperamental, too.

It’s not the worst bike shop website. One-one’s fellow Rotherham retailer has that honour. Hasn’t changed for years and just shows hundreds of out of stock items.

That OK button of the region thing does “work” but the active area is always below where it looks like it should be. 😕

The one that annoys me is the pricing inconsistencies. It regularly says one price on the category page. Click through to the item and it’s not that price at all it’s more.
