Just got a pair of the £5 Fleegle in the sale, but how do you mount them? Up like a pair of swept back raisers, or down like a pair of swept out drops?

    Mine are running flat.

I ran mine just like a highly swept flat bar. Which is basically what they are. So the forward bend towards the centre will point somewhat downwards, the backward swept bit somewhat upwards, depending on how you like your sweep.

I have them upswept slightly, but experiment.

Also they work brilliantly with some platform style ergo grips like the Ergons (but the ones without the stubby bar end). Best bar setup I have ever used, so comfortable.

Yeah, I also run flat bars slightly swept up about the same.

I tried ergons on my normal bars and found they gave me blisters on the outside of my palm because I ended up holding them wrong with all my weight on the end of the bar. Might try them again but for the moment I’m a convert to cheap chinese 99p ESI copies.

Yeah I never liked them on flat bars – they had been languishing in my spares bin for years, but it was totally different with the higher sweep.
