How close does the front tyre come to the down tube when a suspension fork is at full compression?
Both these frames have very curvy down tubes, so if anyone has one of these fames I would love to know.

Why? I’ve never ridden one but I’m pretty sure that’s the kind of thing they’d check! Then again my dad just bought a very original triumph tiger cub, the rear wheel hits the subframe/mudguard over bumps!

There was a short review I think on Bikeradar (make of that what you will) which said that even with shallow tread tyres it was coming very close to the down tube. As long as it is just very close and not hitting.

Never measured how close it gets… Busy riding it!
Owned since November 2011 – preproduction test frame set up with Reba RL 120mm 20mm maxle forks (stepped down to 100mm) with Conti race king 2.2 tyres. I have never had a clearance issue.
