What’s happening with all the new models from On-One? Now Brant is back from china I thought we might have some news or something about the planned new stuff, 45650b etc.

•Asymmetric chain stays – the lightest, strongest, best clearance chainstay we’ve ever designed giving you better tyre and chainring clearance.

That wouldn’t have been too difficult!
    One for PeterPoddy 😉

Apparently the new chainstay is to be called the trois digit bridge…

wonder why they went for the oldstyle wishbone over the new style evo2 type seatstays?

Have they decided which of the other sizes it’s ‘better’ than yet?

    Now there’s a surprise.
Someone asks about a new On One product and all of a sudden it appears.
    Such a coincidence.

    Oh No.

    I’m with Maxtorque – i’d love a bolt thru-10mm rear axle

honourablegeorge – hey?? Surely, a standard drop out is an 8mm slot?

Come on Brant – please build us some bolt thru back ends! 🙂

When will the full bikes be available? Will there be any 29ers? Any pics of the super raw bikes?
    No more questions 😉

boltonjon – no they are 10mm, Hope have 10mm bolt in. Plenty of 10mm QRs (Superstar and Fire Eye plus others) and also the DT RWS skewer in 10mm. You can also change a Shimano rear to 10mm bolt up with a solid axle.

It was on another post last week, but I wish they had something between the 250 chromoly and the 7-800ti. Ie a 400 quid, Reynolds tubed 456. Would be lovely and prob save a good half kilo over the std 456.

No – 10mm thru hubs fit standard dropouts.

They’re gonna do a carbon one again IIRC.

I’d take good quality steel over carbon. It’d be cheaper as well

Given his previously expressed views on 650B I suspect he was dragged to the drawing board kicking and screaming…

Would it? They were doing unpainted C456’s at ridiculously low prices (were they under £300?) for ages.

I got te impression that since CEN testing 853 made less sense as things needed to be overbuilt to stop them flexing, so more middle of the road tubesets were cost effective as 853 in thicker sizes was overkill as you could no longer use less metal?
