  • "Old" Mavic Crossmax ST. Converting to 12×142 and 15mm front?

    Possibly 2009-10.

They’re 9mm QR at the moment. Information is very hard to find, but hoping to put these in a 12×142 frame with 15mm forks. I know more recent models will convert.
Anyone point me in the right direction for info/conversion kits?

The current 15mm adapters just push in – I reckon they’d work on the older hubs, the QR ones for my old deetraks look the same as the QRs for my Crossmax 2012

I doubt you can adapt the rear, though – the 12mm axle goes straight in, so there’s nowhere for a 142 adapter to sit. You could probably fill the gap with 3mm of washers/tubing either side that have a 12mm ID though
