Around 5-6 years ago there was an article doing the rounds, someone had tested an enduro in various configurations – put the 650b yoke on the 29er, mullet rear wheel, etc etc.

My google fu is failing me, is this article still around somewhere, can someone point me at it?

The 650b linkage on the 29er (with 29in wheels) was a popular mod, and massively improved the E29.

Bikeyoke also did a version that allowed use of a standard rear shock BTW.

Also worth noting, the 2014/5 (and maybe others, but this is what I have) enduro used the same front triangle for all the wheel size bikes. They just used a spacer under the headtube to affect different geometry.

    NOT very sophisticated.
