I have a disc with Contribute CS5 on, and product key, but have an ultrabook sans DVD drive. I have tried copying DVD in a colleagues laptop, but the file will not open on my machine…
Does anyone know if I can download an old version of Contribute, as Adobe only have 6.5 on thier site…

could you put an iso image onto a usb stick, or is that what you did ?

Create an image of the DVD with a DVD copying program. Install Virtual Clone Drive ( http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html ) and open the image with it – hey presto – You will be able to access the image of the DVD as if it was in a physical drive.

They usually have old versions hidden away somewhere.
