I won an auction on eBay for a pair of five ten shoes a week ago today and paid for the item on the same day with PayPal. Looking at everything from my side the money has been transfered, but PayPal is saying the funds are unclaimed. I have tried to contact the seller to ask them to confirm when the shoes are shipped but have not recieved a responce. Is this some kind of scam or just a lazy seller?

It sounds like the seller doesn’t have a registered Paypal account for the email address they listed with Ebay or they incorrectly entered it so the funds have been allocated against that email address by Paypal.

Have just had a look at the add again and have possibly found there shop in cornwall (ties in with the detail in the add). Going to email them and see if they have anything to do with the ebay add and ask about the shoes.
