As a teen we had hedge porn. Then came the WWW, but everything pales into insignificance compared with VR Girlz on oculus rift !!!

It’s first gen at the moment and not required. Won’t be an early adopter, want to see which system comes out as the standard

A small business opened on our side street recently allowing us to hire their gear by the hour … the rift dev mask was good but quite pixely… I’d like to see what the released version is like… I dont think its at the stage I’d invest 1k to have one at home but it was fun… maybe wait another year or 2.

I was planning on getting a Vive sometime soon but I am going to wait as if I’ve got that sort of money spare this year it’ll be going towards a new bike.

As such, I will no doubt end up getting the 2nd gen of whichever platform dominates. The Vive impresses me more with it’s controller & ease of room scale VR but the separate Oculus controllers should close that gap somewhat.

I will get a PSVR, and possibly a PS4K if they exist by then, around Xmas. Let the bugs get worked out and the price comes down first.

    Then it’s goodbye world!

Friend has been banging on about getting the vive. Went to try one out in one of the three or four pcworlds that have one to try. Result = Not high enough res, needs to be 4k, wires everywhere. Nvidia 980 at least really required. We both have 980ti’s which are only just good enough. At 4k they won’t be good enough..
