- NW200 Practice
Racing at the NW200 was a great experience. Our ZXR750 was geared for the 200mph mark and thanks to Nick Morgan and a bank of Mikunis we could pull the really high speeds, sacrificed all the bottom end though. It was a funny week, Terry Rymer getting thumped by a bouncer at a club in Port Stewart, surfing the strand, getting caught riding the race bike on the road and being told by the police to have a good race. The van not getting on the ferry from Belfast and I couldnt get off the boat so got stuck for 8 hours in Stranraer waiting for them to catch up.
We had a great result as well, Steve Ellis riding me keeping him out of trouble 😀Posted 5 years ago
Practice was due to start at 10am this morning but the rain will probably stop things http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/northern-ireland/18006106Posted 5 years ago
