Sui – the Weatherproof has been out for a few years, we had them on our car in 2015. When they wore out we replaced them with Cross Climates and the handling is noticeably better for general all year round driving, the car feels firmer and corners better. They are definitely one of the most winter biased all-seasons, whereas the Cross Climate is one of the most summer biased all-seasons.
That video posted above really does show there is very little benefit to running a summer tyre at all over the Cross Climates, unless you are hooning about in a fun car. But so much more advantages in your average, cold greasy damp winter commute. Look at the charts at 6:10 and 9:10…
