When this Norco Fluid FS A1 arrived at STW HQ, I said “Hurray for metal trail bikes. Especially metal trail bikes with decent geometry.”

Yay for this sort of bike.

I’m a fan – very similar idea/geometry to my main bike (Nicolai Saturn 14) that I ride most. Not as quick downhill as my G16 (not surprising) but just does everything well on my regular trails. 140/130 on 29er wheels is a great amount of travel – combined with decent geometry – for most stuff. Weight, I really don’t notice it.

Nice bike. I really like my Norco Sight but it needed a Cascade linkage to fix the biggest problem with it.

My LBS has started stocking them, ,look good in the flesh. I especially like the uncurved top tube

Very nearly bought one of these, it was neck and neck with a Kona Process 134.  So close I think it was only the Kona having proper cable routing for a left hand rear brake that swung me in that direction

Not really important but it looks mega too in my opinion.

looks a bit like they reinvented my 2016 smuggler without the mental 2023 transition price tags…
