    What’s the problem DrJ?

Umm … there was some irony, or sarcasm, or something, implicit in my post! I think she is a sporting and personal role model.

Yep, not a team player apparently

Top sports people generally have a few personality traits that can be regarded as negative. It helps them get to the top. I can look past this if they achieve great things.

I’ve no evidence but I reckon the likes of Hoy and Redgrave etc are far more demanding behind closed doors than their public persona lets on. (Before anyone says anything….I have the upmost respect for both)

Did appear to have a fair old chip on her shoulder, but then given the era she raced in who can blame her.

Aah…. Right over my head. Mrs. Oldman does the ironing around here.

I know some people who’ve worked with Hoy and met him a few times through work, thoroughly nice chap by all accounts. Buys jeans several sizes too big to get his enormous man thighs in them apparently.

Ya, all good but then what sort of management consultant will she be?

    Can people actually manage? 🙄

    Good luck to her.

By the sound of it she is capable of plain speaking. The sort of management consultant you need. 🙂

    Thanks Dr J.

    Great woman, a true hero.

Who gives a flying **** if shes not very nice? I’ve heard Bob Dylan is not very nice, shame because if he was very nice he’d probably be a half decent songwriter.

Interestingly, when Cav started doing really well he was always knocked for be arrogant, demanding and childish? But he was excused because those are the flaws of a top sportsman…
