I always thought my ti frame was pretty niche, after all it’s a prototype from dialled bikes, only two in the world and they never went into production but I increased the niche stakes this weekend when an engineering mtb buddy of mine crafted a matching ti bash ring for me.

It’s 6/4 ti and no, i dont know if it’s chinese, us of goddam a, russian, african or thai ti and frankly I don’t care either 😆

whole bike pre-fitting of bash ring

BTW, yes, yes, I know I haven’t moved my front mech down the seat tube yet, I was just excited about fitting and photoing it first. All done now.

Nice. Some nice radial slotting would have looked good.
Nerdy question, & aimed at your mate really, what tooling did he use ?
