Never even ridden trails that exciting. If I can find a bridleway with a downwards incline and more than three roots I think i'm in heaven. πŸ™

    Nice find!

He looks very small floating over the bumps; either that or he's riding a 29er!

That looks just like me in the Peaks on Sunday*

*In my head, it was just like that, to the rest of the world, it was more like "whoa….shit…f&ck"…crash…..

Some nice smooth riding there, could have been faster on a FS (without question) but he does a good job of taking the right lines and using abit more skill than travel.

He must be all of what…8st.
    Add another 20yrs & 5st & suddenly he wouldn't look so graceful.
That would be Pinch flat city for me.
He/She can ride a bit though.

Why oh why do so many MTB vids have such shitty rawk soundtracks?

You gotta love the haters on here! πŸ˜†
Weight has **** all to do with it, this 14st puddin has more style and grace than most and would be a fair bit faster than this young ripper down that trail..

Knock him all you like, that lad is super fast and a seriously skilled rider. I rode those trails in July and they're more challenging than he makes them look. I'd hazard a guess there's barely a rider on this forum who'd clean them anything like that, even on a full-sus. Who cares if he's ridden them a few times.

Jeez, do you guys watch Roam or Danny Macaskill and just go "yeah, whatever, I could do that".
Praise where it's due, the guy is very good.

Thats a fantastic looking trail and he probably rides it a lot , it looks like a lot of sections i've ridden at various trail centres up and down the country all rolled into one.

Where are these trail centres? Not in the uk surely!? Theres a few dh tracks come close, but theres some boom-gnarly stuff in that vid.

I concur. The only thing i can surmise is that them norf americans have essentially got brutal taste in music. Same applies to skiing films made by nth american companies.

Yeah, where on earth are the UK trail centres like that? People say Stainburn's as rough and tech as it gets here, but I'd love to discover there's better elsewhere. Anyone know?

sorry, but thats not THAT impressive. Yeah, he is fast, and quite smooth, but it's nothing really special. The trails dont really look that difficult either.

    Just my humble opinion.

thats the closest vid I've seen of how it actually is in Whistler bike park. and of course the vid makes it seem less steep. I was there a month ago and can only dream of being that good

good to see someone else riding with some proper width bars too.

Agree with plumber – captures Whistler's terrain pretty well, but the smooth riding and the camera angles make the trails look a whole lot easier than they really are. To ride them like that on a bike like that takes genuine talent and balls.
