Just a bit skimp in the tyre department – although it’s still one of the better examples.
It will take a 2″ 700c tyre, but my experience is that a 2.35″ is what is needed if you want to run a slick tyre on gravel. Using a low pressure allows it to conform. Less than that and you need higher pressure to protect the rims, and lugs on the tread and that compromises it for the road part of your rides.
The head angle is good for a rigid bike, not compromised for the fitting of a suspension fork. Trail works out at 76mm which is reasonable, and 24mm of flop, so it won’t climb like a pig. (700c figures)
