Looking for a packable rain jacket for road cycling.

Ideally lightweight and something I can stuff into a jersey pocket etc.

Budget around £100, any recommendations please?

    Thanks.

Don’t just get pit zips. Get Massive Pit Zips.

Increase the budget and get a Gore Shakedry.

The holy grail of breathable and waterproof. I got mine when they were on sale for £140 but would happily pay full price to replace it.

Get lightest possible wind proof and then proof it with a wash in proofer like Nikwax TX direct.

Or the light Rab thing reviewed on here – flashpoint I think.

I have both but go with the wind proof for mot road rides as I’m never usually out for more than 3 hours or so. If of road I’m more likely to be out longer and more likely to do something stupid like get lost and end up cold and wet…so the flashpoint is better for off road

I paid the same for a Rapha Rain Jacket and would describe it in similar terms. Pit zips not required!

Obviously that’s over budget and at RRP would be massively over budget, but I thought I’d mention it in case there are any bargain ones about still.

Kalf flux lightweight. 135g and £110, packable and pretty breathable.
