    …as here: http://singletrackworld.com/2015/06/ibis-launches-two-new-ripley-29ers/

Comes in ‘normal, nimble 29er version’ and ‘New school, longer and slacker version’ I wonder what proportion of UK riders will go with the L/S zeitgeist…

I wish I hadn’t seen the new Ripley as I’m still loving my first!

Good to see they have revised the cable routing though.

Apart from the cable routing I wouldn’t really change anything on mine.

Personally i always thought Ibis frames came up a bit short in reach which put me off (same for Santa Cruz) so I’m glad they’re offering up a longer version. All superfluous really though as the price is still way out of my reach

I rode an ‘old’ Ripley in Lake Tahoe for a week last year, and stopped myself from replacing my SL-R with one for only a handful of reasons. All of which they now seem to have addressed. Someone burn my credit card…

I’ve the original one with a -1 deg headset on mine to take it to 67.5 with a 140mm fork. It is still quite a short wheelbase tho but that makes it nimble for a 29er.
