Swithering between a new front mech since the last one got mashed or going 1X9. Not really bothered losing the front gears to be honest, but cost is the factor at the moment.

So what chain device would people be using? This is for a 2003 Kona so no fancy mounting points.

You can have my XT front derailieur. I’ve switched to 1×9 and its currently surplus. Its only been used a handful of times on my BMC as i hardly ever road my bike up till now. so its in top nick apart from a few scratches on the shifting surface.
