I’m going to buy one with my own money this year.

Anyone got the 2.0 petrol estate? Do you find it powerful enough? My current 2.0 hatch is fine, but I’m mildly concerned about lugging the extra bulk around.

Think I stopped caring what other people thought about my car when I was in my early 20s.

BA Nana – Same here re. heated windscreens, amazing.

Chaka, if its my money I’ll drive&own anything and I mean anything. The only thing stopping me is expensive services/service intervals and consumables.

If its a company car I’d want the best possible that I could get my hands on bar-none.

Just to add that I’m very happy with my 09 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi non-estate. Can’t think of anything bad about it off the top of my head. FWIW, I used my Chief Exec’s BMW 5-series a couple of months ago to drive to Brum and back and thought it felt pretty cramped in comparison (though I’m 6’5″ so this may not be an issue for many) and didn’t really drive any nicer though it was just motorway driving.
