Frame arrived in country with Si on Monday, arrived at mine and built yesterday and will be ridden today…

S’cuse the steerer tube length, not decided how far to cut it down yet.

And a couple of gratuitous frame detail shots:

This is the second HX1 I’ve had, the first was sold the other day after I decided I couldn’t live without a black anodised finish and tapered headtube – fantastic frames. Cheers Si!

llama, not to be rude, but who are you? Just want to make sure your frame is on it’s way.

Well, just back from a garburn/longsleddale ride and I’m well impressed. Feels more compliant than the 2010 model and has noticeably more standover.

Well worth £400 of anybody’s money.

Would it be wrong to get a silver one as well and build it up as a lightweight rigid singlespeed?

Looks a bit like a shock-less Yeti. Not sold on the looks (and that’s great as I can’t get another bike).

You’re not the first person to say it looks like a shockless yeti tbh!

Having just got back from a nan bield, gatesgarth, longsleddale loop I’m amazed how comfy this is to ride…

    yeti, pah! 🙂

I am quite surprised how big it ‘doesn’t’ look for a large 26er frame.

Looks nice but again it looks like a full suspension bike without the shock. Quite odd really.
