First ride at the weekend and all I can record so far is “shows promise”. It’s clearly enormously capable – I did about 20 miles in the Peak, including the Beast and Lockerbrook so some reasonably fast descents. It says a lot about its capability that despite the rear brake failing completely I didn’t miss it too much 🙁

Think I’ve fixed that now, seems something popped out of somewhere. Trying it on the DH tracks at FoD this weekend, then a play at Staunton in the slop.

It’s the first bike I’ve ridden in a while where I’ve thought “bloody hell, this is pretty serious”. Its ability on the rocks was a significant step up even from my Commencal Meta V4 AM.

It would worry me how much trouble that bike would get me into….

I had the same concerns buying an enduro weapon, but it was unfounded, it doesn’t appear to have made me any more attractive to the ladies 😕

Very nice indeed, I have a Scout and it’s bloody ace. I imagine the Patrol will be amazing on your big mountain days!
