Now that the nights are drawing in, I am contemplating upgrading my lights – currently I use an entry level C&B Seen 1200lm lamp which always seems outgunned by others.

I was thinking of treating myself to a Hope R4+ and was wondering what people’s experiences are. I did look at some of the Exposure lights but the burn time seems a fair bit shorter.

I use a C&B Seen torch as a helmet light which seems pretty good and at 1000lm. I was thinking about going all out and getting an Exposure Axis Mk4 as well, but I’m not sure that it’ll be of much benefit over what I’m currently using.

Any thoughts or experience of the lights I’m considering would be appreciated.
