As title, it looks like I require a 110 4 bolt asymmetric ring, but the only options I can find in stock are absolute black, wolftooth etc at around 80 quid. Superstar don’t have any in stock in size I need (38 or 40), so the only other option is Chinese ebay jobs, which will probably take 3 or 4 weeks to arrive.

    I did see this..it’s 110, 4 bolt, asymmetric..but it sram so assume wouldn’t fit?

Any other options? I’m better off buying a new crank than spend 80 quid on one chainring.

That SRAM won’t fit. Unfortunately 80 quid is normal for a narrow wide ring in this size. I bought my SRAM Rival/Force 1 chainring for €75… So stupid.

More like 10-14 days IME. Order one NAO instead of procrastinating here.
They’re actually just as good as those overpriced AB, WT etc

or search Ebay for a UK seller

I concur, currently running a 40t on the cross bike on some old SLX cranks and it’s been fine. Worked well for racing, we’ll see after the three peaks tomorrow too! I’ve had stuff from ali express in a few days before now.

    Hi,

I’ve got a virtually brand new superstar 40t you can have, I fitted it rode the length of my garden and the crank disintegrated. See my post from a few months ago. PM to work out a price if you want it.
