Finished building my new frame up Monday evening… I’m blown away by it. Feels so much more aggressive than the Intense Tracer2 it’s replaced.

No idea on weight I’m afraid 🙁 for its build it feels fairly light.

Erm, moved the parts across from the Intense, but it’s insured for just over 5.
Cant put a price on happiness they said 😉

    That colour is so nice.

Love it – I was letching over a picture of that frame in the same colour the other day

I like your brick-effect wallpaper, but not too sure on the grey skirting boards. Still, bike is very nice, imagine it would be fantastic when it points downwards… 🙂

£5000 is serious cash for a bike! Enjoy 🙂

    Yes Hora… Office depot 😉

Iolo- the head angles steeper by about 2 degrees from my old frame. So obviously when the track turns downwards just makes me push even more, hence the aggressive feel 🙂

Single chainring? That’s quite a bold move for the Surrey Hills?

    🙂

    (lovely bike btw)

    Stealthy……

Seriously, it looks great. Love a bike that shouts.

First orange I have ever lusted after, I think it’s the split swing arm that makes it look right, great bike matey.

Nice bike. Does the head angle make it a pig to climb or is it not too bad?

You have a “direct mount” rear derailleur hanger so you need to remove the top “link” of the derailleur. Don’t imagine it shifts well as currently installed…

    Beautiful bike otherwise.

Sorry, I meant slacker. More downhill biased.
Thanks for all the kind comments!

Head angle makes it wander a bit up, but I kinda knew I was sacrificing that for the downhill enjoyment.

Edd! Please explain! I’m struggling to get the gears setup! As in the whole bolt setup? That actually makes a lot of sense! Lol.

GSuperstar – you need to remove the bit circled in red:

At last a sensible ‘my new bike’. Very wise choice. Did you see the mag review a few months back?

That is seriously, seriously nice. Why did you change from the Tracer?

Totally not my cup of tea but that really is my cup of tea…
If that makes any sense… 🙂
    Lovely bike.

Ed, I’m ignoring the fact that I feel stupid as this was my first drd use, but thanks so much! I’m excited to swap it out!

Steve-I’m not sure. Loved the bike but, you know when it just doesn’t feel like it’s suited to you? I never felt super confident on it.

    Thanks Taki!
