They have a closing down party going on. I’m guttedd it’s closing, spent many an hour just sitting in the beer garden in the summer after a ride. It’s a real little oasis.

Trouble is I can see it being unofficially hijacked as a party for that “other thing” happening that night. I won’t be drinking that’s for sure as I’m likey not to be able to keep my trap shut.lol

I’m working I’m not sure there’s much else happening that night.

Working on Saturday, just another day.

Scratching out all the metric ticks in my rulers throwing out all my straight bananas and preparing the pyre for my red passport.

Once all the admin is out the way I’m going to go out and torch my lovely friendly polish neighbours car.

I shall be clearing space for the gold plated unicorn delivery.

It will have to squeeze in next to my fresh artisan pork pie export business and my tea crop but I think it’ll be ok.

Fadda Jr has a basketball game in Swansea, so I’ll be watching him!

My local closed down on 1st January. Couldn’t help empty the stocks as I’m not drinking.

Good news is that it’s re-opening next month after a much needed rebuild with a new layout (original was long and thin with an unused dining room tacked on one end) and new kitchen. The new landlords are really doing a great job turning it round whilst keeping it as a small village pub.

While I’m probably a bit old for such things these days, there was an idea trending on Twitter the other day that struck me as being a reasonable response to the stupidity.

Our usual evening ride meet spot is also closing. It is/was a brewery tap with decent beer, wipe clean surfaces, good rides in every direction and few worries about leaving your bike outside. Plenty of other decent pubs near by but none that will tick so many boxes.
