This happened to any of you folks? There only six months old.I guess a build up of ear wax may be responsible.Anyone found a simple solution to this problem or should I just buy another set?Cheers for any help.

Check your ears and ear buds? Clean them out?

I don’t what make you’ve got but my etymotics have removable small mesh filters in the end to prevent wax getting down them I removed them altogether as they would clog and quieten the output a lot… that was about 6 years ago and not had an issue since

Someone on here told me to run them under a hot tap. I thought they were having a laugh, but I had nothing to lose so have it a try and it only worked.

Buy some new ears, Mr Lineker should be able to advise further.

Put kettle on. Fill mug with resulting hot water. Dip the ear bud mesh bit into the water for a few seconds and then wipe on kitchen towel. Repeat until no more yucky smelly wax marks the towel.

If your ears are blocked with wax then everything will have gone a bit quiet.

Isopropyl alcohol for cleaning wax off the mesh bit.

    Check device volume settings.

Get some Otex for your ears.
