Think you might need to be a bit more descriptive in what you want. 😉

Michelin AT. I have been using mine for pretty much everything!

Weirwolf LT 2.55 in the summer (if we get one) as they are super bouncy (on my rigid bike)

yeah sorry it’s for a rigid single speed.

Will be racing a bit on it, but mainly just general trail riding (Bristol area which is more often then not muddy so nothing with too much of a low profile).

    Anyone ride nevegal 29er?

SSP is the weirwolf not really heavy going?

Mud X’s might be worth a try, only used them in 26″ myself but was impressed.

I use Continetal Mountain Kings which are pretty good until it gets very muddy.

Bonty Jones ACX Are great or if you want super fast racy ones Maxxis High Rollers 1.9

For Brizzol mud I’d say either the Bonty Mud X or the Conti Mountain King if you want something with a bit more volume.

For dry conditions I’d go for either the WW or the Racing ralph in 2.4

Both Great tyres with plenty of give for your rigidness. 😉

WTB Prowler 2.1 seems to have worked for me in everything bar deep mud

Bonty jones acx for mud, kenda small block 8 for dry and they are surprisingly grippy in 29er flavour and work for most conditions, kenda karma also not too bad for rocky places.

Mich AT’s in mud. Or failing that the old WTB Motoraptor is great.

The WeirWolf 2.55 roll really fast even at 25PSI which also gives amazing traction and comfort. Kenda SB8’s are fast but a little lacking in traction on the front.

No one has mentionned the Panaracer Rampage 2.35. Great on a rigid, if a little weighty, and make a great rumble sound on tarmac/frozen ground. Need a wide-ish rim or they tend to roll off.
If we get a dryish summer always like WTB Nanoraptors.

Infact if you’re anywhere near the midlands drop round and you can take your pick of tyres to try from my ever increasing collection.

I think i’ve got just about every tyre mentioned so far.

    And a few more…..

WTB ExiWolfs. 29″ x 2.3. I was so impressed with them, I bought the company…. well, not exactly, but I did buy pair of 26″ versions from the US for my other bike. Fast rolling, deep tread, big volume, brilliant grip climbing and better in the gloop that you might imagine. Shade on the weighty side though.
