To be fair, most metal is destroyed by pc / hifi speakers. It sounds very different/ less messy through headphones.

Yeah, i get what your saying regarding crap speakers as used by most pc users, what passes for some folks interpretation of “decent sound” has me smacking my head off the wall to make the bad noise go away, i’m an unashamed obsessed music snob and my mac runs a Native Instruments audio kontrol with cirrus logic 24bit/192khz A/D, D/A convertors as my external soundcard with KRK VXT6 or KRK Rokit 5’s active monitors and KRK 10 sub so i guarantee i can very rapidly clear a room of any attractive girls if someone asks me about my system or musical tatstes. Also use/own a few headphones : Sennheiser HD-25’s, B&W P3, Allan & Heath XD-53, Grado SR80’s, KRK KNS 6400’s.

My prob with metal/rock/punk is its really all been done, the grunty vocals, same ol guitar riffs, but hey I understand people like to stick to the familiar, so no problem with other people diggin it. Good to hear something different from my usual on this thread too.
I would add Kanye West’s glam stomper Black Skinhead if I wasn’t on the ipad. Wanna hate him, and his lyrics are sometimes really bad, but such power in some of the tracks.
