Le Meridien ticks my boxes, but hardly very imaginative.

Stayed in the Sendlinger Tor Hotel Cocoon a couple of weeks ago. Nothing fancy, but stylish, comfy, friendly and well situated.

Just had a standard room and it was pretty good. The slightly more expensive suites would be nicer and still under your budget too.

Definitely planning on going back to Munich and would certainly stay there again.
