need something to do most jobs. currently use an old hex key thingy with flat-head and phillips screwdrivers. it’s a bit limited.

seen this in the local shop.

    seems to cover most bases.

    any other recommendations?

    cheers

2nd the crankbro 17/19 recommendation, though I find the allen keys are ‘occasionally’ a little short for some jobs, chain tools is ace though.

The two of us this weekend with Topeak multi-tools, both had lost their chain tool pins. They seem to not be connected to the threaded shank very well at all.

I’ve got the Crank Bros one as well, and it’s a good tool, but it has rusted quite a bit.

+1 for the Crank Bros 19

Good chain tool and the spoke keys are handy too.

ive got that park one … i also have an SKS toolbox travel.

Sks far superior , the 5mm on that park tool is too short for some applications.

the tire lever also becomes slack and falls off …and you loose it as i have done …

love the sks though has all i need thats for sure. and easy to use + comes in its own little neoprene case to keep it looking nice.

Been using Alien from Topeak for 9 yrs now.

More of a tool to take with you in a pack than a workshop tool.

I use a Tesco Bike allen tool for working on bikes at home. £3 ish.
