Hi all, purchased some Muc-Off inner tube sealant in Aldi today thinking it was tubeless sealant. Before returning it, I’m just wondering if anyone has tries it (successfully or not) as tubeless sealant? I run cushcores so would be looking for it to seal punctures from thorns etc as opposed to pinch flats.

I tried it with Slime branded inner tube sealant and it was a disaster. It formed a rock hard jagged edge around the edge of the tire wall meaning I couldn’t re seat them next time I tried to change them to a different wheel. It took a an hour per tire removing it by hand. Not the same stuff I know…

Thanks for the info EIVio, sounds like not worth taking a chance. Back to the shop with it.

TBH I wouldn’t use the mucoff tubeless sealant much less something not designed for the job. It resembled milk and wouldn’t seal anything when I tried it.

The only good comment I have about it is smells nice.
