Anyone got any experiences good/bad of the names that come up when I Google for options.

I want an annual policy that covers me for UK trips.

Tried online but my IOM postcode isn’t recognised.

I going to phone some tomorrow but would just appreciate any info in order to dodge the cowboys.

    Cheers P

Just for the bike while travelling over and in the UK. Not for crash cover or for me.

I think it is often best adding it onto your house insurance I’m with co-op and my main bike is insured away from the house new for old.

I know it’s the norm with you guys on house insurance but mine doesn’t do it, they say go to specialistnbike insurance company…..ie cycleplan etc

Ouch… I actually chose my home insurance based on the which I felt would give me the best bike cover, I know my priorities.

When’s your insurance up for renewal? The bike specific policies tend to be cripplingly expensive…

My bikes were insured for full amount anywhere for 6.5 years on my house insurance with Halifax for about £40 a year. I recent moved out of my owned home and into a rented home and Halifax refused to insure my bikes.

Did some research and found a superb quote from Hastings, they specify expensive bikes and it was about £35 per annum on top of my house insurance for £7k cover for 2 bikes in the home or anywhere in the UK.

Direct line select – 15k single item limit worldwide including bikes. Best insurance switch I have ever made and relatively cheap too.
