    Hello.

I have a Park FR52 cassette tool, which works well on everything except my wife’s bike.

The rear axle is too long and it won’t fit into the lockring before the axle gets in the way.

Can anyone recommend a ‘deeper’ tool? The Pedro’s one without the pin looks bigger in the pics but does it actually go further into the cassette or is it just more material at the top?

    Thanks all

Get a cheap one from ebay that has a big hole or takes a 1/2″ square drive.

The superstar ones are good for this

Is it a 12 through axle hub? If so, is it the GT version of the 5.2 tool? Are you sure you have the 5.2 and not the discontinued 5? Can you remove the end cap first?

No, it’s a standard QR axel (are they still standard?) Just seems very long for reason. Deore hub so nothing unusual. Will give the Superstar a try, thanks 🙂
