- Most cowardly thing you have ever done.
In response to the ‘Bravest’ thread, in which I feel I made a good showing.
Ten years ago, my wife and I (pauses for effect) were walking along a section of Hadrian’s Wall when we were accosted by a very large, very angry dog.
Leaping into action, I grabbed my wife and shoved her in front of me.
I’ve felt extremely ashamed ever since, and so I should. Crap behaviour. She calmed the dog and we all made friends but needless to say, neither of us have mentioned it since. This is doubly embarrassing as I market myself as a dog photographer, with a special affinity with dogs.
I suspect this will be a three post failure, but do feel free to chime in…Posted 5 years agoDanny79Member
Breaking up with my ex, she lived in my flat. Encouraged her dream to travel, helped her pack her stuff in storage so I could rent out main bedroom. Broke up with her a month into her year away, in my defence she was probably going to end it with me at some point that year.Posted 5 years agodjgloverMember
Re: the break up thing, done similar. Was half living with a lass in her shared house (ie some clothes and stuff there) whilst she was in the pub I moved my stuff out and told the housemates i was going to the pub to dump her. I decided to avoid the confrontation and just went home and let her housemate break the bad news. To top it off I started dating her friend that had set us up in the first place. This culminated in me being punched in a nightclub. I am now married to the friendPosted 5 years agobikebouyMember
I got asked back to a Girls house after a gig (way back in the early 90’s) and although she was rather nice I just wasn’t into her, we pulled up outside her place, I opened my door just before being jumped upon, she landed on the passenger seat as I fled the scene across a small field getting covered in mud then hid behind a low wall for aprox 1hr 15mins and 43 seconds.
That moment I felt rather small.
But I’ve never been a shag em’ bag em’ kinda guy.Posted 5 years ago
