Going to morzine in August (taking the family this year!). Multipass looks like a good deal for getting around, activities etc but can it be used to access lifts if youve got your bike with you or is it just for walkers/ramblers?

multipass just gets you on the lifts on foot – still worth the Euro a day though – especially with kids as it also gets you into the swimming pools

How do they know if you’ve got a multi pass or a full bike lift pass?

    Dunno how they can tell.

FWIW- only certain accommodation providers are signed up to the scheme.

Yes… We’re going with rude chalets … They’re one of the official providers…..
Didn’t want to fork out for a full 3 or 5 day pass…. More likely to be a morning biking here and and afternoon there (with the family being with us!)

They can tell as all the passes are Gucci electronic things normally and if you have a paper one they check it. Loiter around the lifts, we have previously bought day passes but only used them for half a day due to commuting then flogged em cheap onto someone who just wanted it for a couple of hours at the end of the day.

So the multipass is a paper affair as opposed the ‘credit card’ style bike pass?

You can have the mulipass added to your VTT pass which is most worthwhile if you have you family with you. I makes things like the deval karts and bob luge much better value for money. Rude will be able to send a note to the lift pass office asking them to add the multipass option to you bike pass.
