There’s been some muscular and dynamic plays in this game

And with Arsnal now in play I can triple-park!
Green Park, Regents Park, Hyde Park😁

Keeping in the spirit of stuffing things, I’d be a fool not to play Neasden, especially with the weather we are having currently.

mmmm, I’ll go south of the river, to the ‘Gateway to the South’
    Balham.

I’ll attempt a blind skirting manoeuvre (no shunt mind)…

So it’s – Heathrow, All Terminals.

I believe that gets me not only a Blue Token by using the lesser known 5th runway amendment for crossing the river twice but also a bonus  “Doors to manual and cross check, therefore no infringements applied” free move, next turn but one.

Heathrow, All terminals. I cry foul play, please advise…..

Cryer liked stations that straddle zones I think so I’m going to suggest we take this to Moor Park.

Edit: I’m referring myself to adjudication as I dived in without allowing resolution of the previous challenge. Apologies.

Yeah, upheld. Your legs ain’t that long, sonny Jim. I believe all terminals are valid bar one here, so you’re gonna have to choose one. You can keep the token, that’s cool (and quite clever) but no free turns. Unless, of course, you want to cash the token in early for exactly that. Bit of a wild move but you’ve got the option.

Actually, in the interests of keeping the game flowing, I’ll choose on skippy’s behalf. Play resumes from T2.

So is CSB’s Moor Park OK then if we are going from T2? If so, I’ll have Elephant and Castle as that’s on the lateral from Hyde Park and Goodge Street is occupied so I can jump that.

Darn it, I thought it was a bit of a gamble tbh even though I specified no shunt. Fair enough then. I’ll keep the token for now thanks. I may be able to make use of it in the National Express edition 😉. T2 seems appropriate then under the circumstances.

Hmmm. Andrewh skipped past me, so I’ll scamper my merry way to Russell Street. Hopefully it that’s valid!

Pffft easy – Uxrbridge via the Hillingdon Cloverleaf on a Super Saturday Saver Special!

Double Swiss Cottage could create a dangerous feedback loop later in the game. Cutty Sark for Greenwich Maritime, it’s the safest way to diffuse the situation. Could have gone with Emeirates Greenwich Peninsula but as it’s a memorial edition it has to be Cutty Sark.

Moorgate? Madness! It’ll be mayhem! A motley melange of the mighty & the malingering making their way in the most meandering & moribund manner!

[EDIT] Bugger, meant Old Kent Road🙈 Kentish Town wouldn’t be very helpful at all, I’d just get boxed🤣

I can see why you’d want to hedge your bets but you’ll need to be specific – Town, North, East or West? Assuming we’re not playing the Silverlink special rules which gives you overland options too.

Can one of the more experienced players confirm if this is a legit next move?

Oh come on now, no need to call a fellow player that.
Normally it’d be Nidd for you my lad, but seeing as it’s all for a good cause how about calling it quits at Island Garden

I would have said yes, but then I’ve just fluffed a simple move kike Acton North so🤷‍♂️

I’m not sure whether it’s naive or bold but it’s absolutely a valid move. It closes the Jubilee Line for two turns and if we were playing a more recent variant would’ve wiped out all Travelcards. But we aren’t so it doesn’t. I need a pen, hang on a minute.

Christ, wow, right. I think… yeah, diagonals are no longer wild, standard rules now apply here. Which means Knipp is possible in three.

The subsequent plays above are good (aside from Acton North being utter lunacy). Cart on, as you were.

Oh, and H-H collects a bonus puce token for MCMC confusion.

Hmmmm & me at Uxbridge. What to do, what to do?…

Diagonal to Piccadilly. Yes, I know it’s rush hour & the points at Oxford Circus don’t like the cold but it’s the only way I’m getting back into this game!

Down to Waterloo, which brings those stranded on the Jubilee back into play.

I think from Waterloo I’d play Warren Street, given that the Jubilee Line is back in play, but does that violate Thorvald’s Inversion?

In which case, it can only be a move to Cockfosters.

Sorry – I found a very old set of rules in my Grandfather’s belongings (he was a keen player back in the day), but it’s been water damaged and his dog has chewed the remaining pages, so I’m having difficulty working out my next move.

As I’ve violated the inversion, I think I have to miss a go and can’t pick a station that’s within 100 yards of a church next time, have I understood that correctly?

    Church OR massage parlour.

Hmm, that really narrows my options, I’m going to have to play a proper safety shot at my next turn to avoid a double fault
