I weigh about 12 and a half stone, and I was thinking about 32 hole rims for front and rear, how has anybody found Exellight rims who've used them, and what sort of use did they find they can cope with?

Was it just smooth roads only, or could they handle the occasional bits of stoney bridleway as well, like Open Pro rims can?

    Many thanks,

    Tim

Yes I've got some and yes they are very good. Paul Hewitt rates them and built me up some 28h on Hope Pro3 hubs, with DT aerospeed spokes. Lovely wheels.

I remember building up some ambrosio rims while a wrench monkey. They were nice quality, seemed strong enough, well finished and expensive.

I can't see past open pros I'm afraid, but I'd expect them to be OK.
