- Moorland fires in Calderdale
I don’t think so, the fires ive heard about are either the other side of the valley or over towards Lancs. Going to be wet tomorrow anyway so shouldn’t be a problem! 😛
Posted 4 years agoI’m planning a loop round Hebden tomorrow,do any of the locals know if the fires will affect it,please?

The road going roughly south from Mytholmroyd through Cragg Vale-
From about half way between Mytholmroyd and Blackstoneedge looking east & also when you get to Blackstonedge, on the opposite side of the road to the Whitehouse pub. ( ie in the direction of the big mast at J22 on the M62)Not aware of anything on the route you’ve planned, but just keep your eyes open.
