  • Monitoring Solar Panel Output

We have some solar panels installed about 10 years ago. I used to a have a monitor to measure the output, but it died a few years ago and I chucked into the relevant recycling bin. Anyway I’ve been told by the management that I need to see what we are actually getting on a sunny day to see how much they are degrading. The previous one also should actual consumption, so you could see how much you were using at any one instant.

I’ve done the standard trawl round the internet and have a few options – though I’d ask here if anyone here is using one at the moment that they would recommend or tell me to avoid. The current inverter was installed 10 years ago and as such is not wi-fi enabled, so it needs to measure usage by clipping onto the cables. It must not be specific to anyone supplier. Thanks
