    I’m away with work to sunny Bolton next week, finish each day at 4.30pm. Is it worth sticking a bike in for early evening sanity restoration? If so, road or MTB, and route suggestions welcome! Thanks

    Theres Rivington or the Whitton weavers way to Crowthorne over the hill to Holcombe, plenty up there

    Both MTB and road are great from Bolton.

    I’ll probably be able to show you the local trails, if you’d like.

    yes Rivvy is a short ride away for MTB
    Decent quietish roads for road riding as well that are moderately undulatory.

    Also able to show you round if you want a [MTB] night ride on weds

    I would bring one of each personally and the cross bike too 😉
