.. should the motor continue running and sound like it’s struggling when the water isnt flowing?

I got a new V15 (the psa wiggle £50 one) one last week and it’s not behaving like the car (mains powered) ones I’ve tried that always cut out.

Apologies if I’m being a numptie.

When you release the trigger and shut off the water jet the motor should cut out, unless you are out of water.

    Thanks old_mtber.

I’m off to google the wiggle warranty procedure.

Check all the connections on the hoses and lance are fitted properly. It’ll keep pumping if it’s losing any pressure at all.

make sure the engine is running or you will get this happening

I’ve checked and double checked this. There is no water leaking anywhere – or any hissing noises.

I tried that too – the pump / spray is more powerful for sure with the engine running but it still doesnt cut out. I also tried another car.

    Thanks for the replies!
