A lot has changed, specially in the last 20yrs, I grew up in a small northern town and in the seventies it was pretty rough with the nf an stuff, been kicked up an down more times than I can remember, and most people in authority (teachers, coppers and suchlike) were very bigoted, in fact at 13 I left school after twatting a pe teacher with a cricket bat after months of verbal and physical abuse, and my mum was arrested for chucking a tin of red paint over the leader of the nf when they marched down the local high st,
Nowadays things are much nicer, and the only bigots/racists I see tend to be dumb f**kwits,

Yes, pretty much, I got it from both sides, no pleasing some folk.
I pretty much come to terms with it in my twenties after running amok with punks/hells angels/Rastas whatever seemed interesting at the time in my teens, I decided it was their problem not mine and just got on with it and had fun, worked out ok I reckon.
